Getaran dirasakan dalam skala ringan hingga sedang selama beberapa detik, terutama oleh warga yang berada di dalam rumah.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cSempat terasa getaran, seperti ada yang menggoyangkan rumah. Tidak lama, tapi cukup membuat kaget,\u201d kata mirna salah seorang warga Gayo Lues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Meski demikian, hingga saat ini belum ada laporan mengenai kerusakan bangunan maupun korban jiwa akibat peristiwa tersebut.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">BMKG menyebutkan bahwa gempa ini tergolong gempa dangkal yang disebabkan oleh aktivitas sesar lokal di wilayah tersebut. Masyarakat diimbau tetap tenang dan tidak terpancing informasi yang tidak dapat dipertanggungjawabkan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Selain itu, warga juga diminta untuk selalu waspada terhadap kemungkinan gempa susulan, meskipun hingga kini belum ada indikasi ke arah tersebut.
